Dzulani Children’s Care Centre is an orphanage based in Vosloorus that was founded by Mrs Neli Nelukau in2012.Her motive behind starting the orphanage centre was the fact that she grew up being abused, but she didn’t let that to define her future, she also has love for helping children who have found themselves in a similar abusive situation which she has also encountered in her life.

The orphanage accommodates children from a tender age up until 18 years of age.The purpose of the event was to celebrate heritage day and for South Africans to remember their roots; and to give back by rendering a talent show to the orphanage children in Dzulani Children’s Care Centre so that they can showcase their talents.Mrs Nelukau revealed to Ekurhuleni news that, “I’m happy to see what 48Studios has done for us, for the children in particular because the event will help us to get food sponsors because we have been battling to get sponsors since the lockdown started,” she said48Studios is a facility that enables producers, creatives to come together and to produce magical projects.
