Lebogang Ramathibela, a 17-year-old from Germiston, is not just a fashion and pageant model but also a beacon of kindness and talent. With titles like Miss Teen East Rand 2022 and Miss Heart of Ekurhuleni 2023 ambassador under her belt, Lebogang’s journey from aspiring fashion designer to acclaimed model is as inspiring as it is remarkable.
Driven by her passion for fashion and a desire to make a difference, Lebogang founded the Lebogang Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading kindness throughout the community. Her vision of promoting compassion and uplifting young people has already begun to make waves.
But Lebogang’s talents do not end there. She’s an accomplished actress, recognized for her skills on platforms like the X Factor, and a versatile entertainer who has hosted numerous pageants and events. Her love for dance, cooking, and community engagement reflects her multifaceted personality and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact. ”In 2022 I was actually the head captain for the cheerleading team at my school. I am also a host, I have hosted quite a few pageants in the past”.Lebogang said.
As she prepares to represent South Africa on the international stage at the Miss Teen Charm International Pageant in Colombia, Lebogang remains humble yet determined. Her journey, though challenging, has taught her invaluable lessons that will undoubtedly shape her future endeavours.”My journey was the best. I have learnt a lot of lessons which will carry me through life. It was definitely not easy but the hard work always pays off” she added.
Looking ahead, Lebogang envisions taking her NPO to new heights and collaborating with major organizations to amplify her impact. With aspirations of entering larger pageants and pursuing higher education, her dedication to excellence knows no bounds.
In the future, Lebogang Machakela would love to take my NPO to higher levels and collaborate with big NPOs. “I would love to enter bigger pageants and graduate at a higher level education institution” she explains.
