Pedros Tembisa Plaza hosts a second annual mother’s day celebration. On the 11th of May 2025, mothers visited the one-stop shop of food, Pedros Tembisa Plaza, dressed to kill as per the themed competition: ‘Best Dressed Moms.’
The event was vibrant. Entertainment, good music and food were provided, and fathers and husbands come to support their women on their precious day. The day symbolized how God entrusted the world in a woman’s hand, and why they are referred to as ‘Izimbokodo’ The Rock. They all gathered, very appealing to the eye.
The competition consisted of twenty (20) contestants who were all eager to win the 1st price. Top five were chosen from different criteria of modelling, dancing, singing, MC of the day, etc, as well as one’s unique talent.
Congratulations to the following TOP THREE WINNNERS who got nominated by the crowd:
* Busisiwe Ngcobo (3rd princess) best dressed mom
* Makgoba Kganakga (2nd princess) best dressed mom
* Mbali Zikhali (1st position, The Queen) best dressed mom
Busisiwe, with her position, scooped herself a full viva meal with garlic roll. Makgoba, R250 and a bouquet of flowers. And Mbali was crowned with ‘Best Dressed Mom’, and took 500 home with a bouquet of flowers.
“I’m so grateful,” Mbali said. “Thank you to the crowd for choosing me. What could I be without them? Thank you to the judges. And thank you once again to my home, Pedros Tembisa plaza, for this competition. Forever Pedros Tembisa Plaza for always delivering on the quality of food.”
Overall, the event was yet another success. Busisiwe and Makgoba were just as grateful.
A big shoutout to Pedros Tembisa Plaza staff and managers for all the effort made to see to it that they have as many attendees as possible; priority given to their regular customers.
