MMC for Community Safety, Cllr Letlhogonolo Moseki, commended the EMPD, JMPD, Gauteng Traffic Police and their stakeholders for arresting a suspect and recovering illegal firearms including rifles and pistols in Thembisa on Wednesday, 23 February 2022.
Police uniforms were also recovered during the arrest. The suspect may be linked to a group of suspects who escaped during a shootout with the police in Rosettenville.
