Katleho Kaula, a 27-year-old artist, DJ, and producer in the amapiano genre recently dropped his mix called Thupafication Edition 15.
The mix was released on the 11th of August on all digital platforms for streaming and download.
“My inspiration for the mix comes from my journey in music and evolution. Each mix is a story to tell,” he said.
He said the mix is about Amapiano and exclusive tracks, which are not listened to.
“We bring this exclusive plug to the world,” he said.
Wa 2Pa mentioned that he confronted challenges when making his mix.
One of the challenges includes refining his track selection and order stating that the difficult part is that the mix had to be fluid.
He further stated that he is passionate about music and giving back to the community in an impactful yet educational way.
“Bringing music to the globe while investing in myself and the future is the goal.
“I am to contribute to the youth and the platform of craft through extensive training of decks, timing, execution, and beat matching, furthermore a brief introduction to Fruity Loops,” he added.
He furthermore added that he loves community work and plans to dedicate his time to it.
“Any form of volunteering for me is giving back. Be it a gender equality drive to educating people about health and other socio-economic issues, I am there,” he said.
Wa 2Pa also mentioned that he is cooking something good to be dropped soon.
“Thupafication edition 16 will drop in Spring. Tracks I collaborated on with other artists will also soon be released.
“I want to build a cred and movement for the future, through unity and belief,” he mentioned in conclusion.
