On the 27th of March, a drunk driver bumped a VW Tiguan at Snake Road (Benoni) next to the Actonville off-ramp while traveling with his two daughters between the ages of 4 and 9 along with his friend, after the accident his friend was rushed to hospital since he was serious injured on the face. The VW Tiguan owner explained to Ekurhuleni News, saying “The traffic light was already red when we approached it; I was apparently slowing down when this Audi car smashed into the back of my car with an impactful speed”. Drivers are advised not to drink and drive, especially this coming holidays because speed kills, arrive alive.
