Many children are anxious on their school and parents are confronted with the fear of the unknown.
An academic year, or school year, is a period that schools, colleges and universities use to measure the duration of studies for a given educational level.
January 15 marked the start of the 2025 academic year with our thousand of children returning to school in Gauteng.
One of the parents whose child is to attend grade one this year said, her child had been waiting upon this day.
“My daughter had been excited since last year to start school and leaving her inside the school without a tear drop pleases me.
“I am beyond greatful and excited on her behalf to hear how her day went,” said Nomvula Nkomo.
He added that everything is new to them explaining that her daughter is now at a new school.
