Bongile Sicholweni, popularly known by his stage name, Banzo SA, is a South African singer who is known for his hit singles “izinto ziyashitsha”, “Mina Nezam”, “Kanti why” and “somewhere around africa remix”.
Born and bred in Kwathema, Banzo attended school at Kwathema primary and Zimisele Secondary, and went further to work with esteemed producer such as Mpilaske, Cubix and Mzet – where he focused on different genres – Amapiano, Afropop, Gwijo, Hip hop Instrument(s) Vocals.
He appreciates how this opportunity gave him exposure and recognition he didn’t have, and hopes it’ll open even more opportunities for him with other South African record labels to give him studio time, experience and bookings, both in small and big events.
