Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA), each decision we make is a chance to do the right thing; in all our actions, we are relentlessly self-aware of our role in the world and the impact we can have and help care for the people across our host communities – we give back to help make them stronger and more prosperous.
The community of Ivory Park in Thembisa is integral to our success as a business and, therefore we seek to empower them through heeding calls such as this one, to offer them much needed support and relief following the recent heavy rains and flash floods, which sadly left many without shelter and basic needs.
Whether donating money, our time or our expertise, we take responsibility to the communities we call home seriously. To this effect, we are here today, in partnership with the City of Ekurhuleni, to donate 140 blankets, 140 toiletries for (males and females), sanitary towels and toilet paper. The Gift of the Givers Foundation will provide food parcels to the 187 people who are affected.
