The recently re-elected Tsakane CPF chairperson Mncedisi Somyo was awarded by the Abanqobi Social Club for his dedication to the community.
The sakane Heroes gala dinner was held at the Tsakane community hall last week Saturday and honored impactful people within the community.
Somyo was one of the recognised individuals who worked tirelessly towards community growth, development, and fighting against criminal activities.
He mentioned that he felt honoured by the event and social club citing that he is beyond grateful for the recognition.
“The heroes of Tsakane Award have made me feel recognised and a part of the community.
“This serves as motivation beyond anything else. I am dedicated to community work and the betterment of every individual residing in Tsakane,” he said.
Somyo has been in his position since 2019 and is still focused on alleviating the community in every possible way.
“Working with the community in partnership with the police has been a pleasant journey.
“It is not easy but I am always up for the challenge,” he added.
Somyo expressed his gratitude to everyone who continuously works in partnership with him.
He extended his gratitude to his team and other fellow colleagues, “working with different individuals and personalities is not easy but with mutual understanding, everything is possible,” he concluded.
