Creative Sizakele Valashiya from Tsakane makes anything out of waste material.
She started a business of making school projects for the kids early this year through skills and experience gathered from 2021.
Her creativity enables her to unleash her creative side by making school projects for school children.
“With a little creativity and some DIY skills, you can turn waste materials such as old bottles, newspapers, cardboard, and more into stunning home decor pieces and wonderful school projects,” she said.
She said from painting and gluing to using fabric and ribbons, there are many unique and creative ways to dress up a bottle.
She added that there are many beneficial learning outcomes for children in early childhood classrooms if allowed to use cardboard boxes and classroom collage supplies to build and create with.
“I enjoy using my hands as a form of creativity and creating. Using and teaching children how to use raw materials to make meaningful things is a part of my passion,” she added.
She mentioned that parents can bring their children’s creative projects to her for her to assist in creating real-life art.
