Founded in 2015, the 100% Foundation was born from the vision of its founders to make a lasting impact on communities in need. With a deep commitment to supporting early childhood development (ECD), the foundation works tirelessly to provide essential resources such as nutrition, hygiene products, and skills development to uplift local communities. The heart of the foundation’s mission is simple: to ensure every child has the chance to thrive.
Among the foundation’s proud achievements is the establishment of libraries in two primary schools. Literacy is the cornerstone of a child’s education, and the foundation’s library programs provide students with the tools to excel. Thanks to the dedication of volunteers, the foundation has successfully created spaces where young minds can grow, fostering a love of reading that will last a lifetime.
One of the foundation’s impactful campaigns involved donating shoes to students. The “7 schools, 750 shoes” initiative has already been fulfilled, ensuring children are equipped with proper footwear to attend school with dignity and comfort. It’s just one example of how the foundation works to meet immediate needs in the communities it serves.
What sets the 100% Foundation apart is its unwavering commitment to transparency and direct support. Funded solely by Affinity Life Limited, the foundation has grown significantly over the years, increasing its beneficiary base from 12 NPOs to over 60 today. Importantly, every single cent donated goes directly to the cause, ensuring that 100% of funds reach those who need them most. Even during the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, the foundation continued to operate, providing critical nutrition and support to communities in need.
While the foundation’s impact has been far-reaching, it faces the ongoing challenge of managing a high volume of requests for assistance. With limited resources, the foundation conducts thorough due diligence on any new requests, ensuring they prioritize where their efforts will have the greatest impact.
With a clear annual plan in place, the 100% Foundation remains focused on achieving measurable outcomes for the communities it serves. The foundation is constantly looking for new ways to create lasting change, with initiatives designed to strengthen education and support local families.
The foundation believes that the early years of a child’s education are the most critical. To support children’s learning, the foundation provides CAPS-aligned educational materials that offer a relevant and high-quality learning experience. Their school programs not only help children achieve academically but also aim to restore dignity and pride, reminding students that they are valued and cared for.
