Tebogo Mohamme, professionally known as FLAEN (First Last At Ends Need), is set to take the South African music scene by storm with the release of his highly anticipated EP, “Game”. At just 28 years old, this qualified accountant from the northern township of Mabopane is turning his lifelong passion for music into a thriving career.
Growing up in Mabopane, FLAEN was inspired by the rich musical heritage of his surroundings. Genres like Kwaito, Hip Hop, and African chants played a pivotal role in shaping his artistic identity. He began his journey as a lyrical writer and has now embraced his evolution into a versatile musician. “Music has always been a part of me. It’s not just entertainment—it’s a reflection of culture, identity, and personal growth,” FLAEN says.
FLAEN’s passion extends beyond his artistry; he is the founder of his own record label, dedicated to nurturing and managing emerging talent. His vision is not just to create music but to create
opportunities for others within his community.
To celebrate the release of “Game,” FLAEN is hosting a series of Down Time Sessions in Mabopane and its surrounding areas, including Hammanskraal, Soshanguve, and Ga-Rankuwa. These events are more than just musical showcases—they’re cultural experiences, featuring food, drinks, and authentic connections.
Collaborating with influential vloggers and content creators, FLAEN uses these sessions to bring people together while promoting his music.
“‘Game’ represents my journey—both the challenges and the victories. I hope it resonates with people from all walks of life,” says FLAEN.
