On 26 September 2020 Global Solutions in Maths in conjunction with Debonairs Pizza Sesfikile Square held a thank you session for the learners who contributed their Drawing Materials to aid those who have been recently placed in a Draughting learnership bursary. This ceremony follows after the Global Solutions in Maths, which is a wing of Global Maths that was essentially groomed by Sibiya Coaching and proudly sponsored by Debonairs Pizza Sesfikile Square managed to place learners at the African Academy for a Draughting learnership Bursary. These learners have no Technical Drawing (EGD) Background, and they have no funds to buy their own Drawing Instruments. However the Global Solutions in Maths made means to approach former Grade 12s at Dinoto Technical Secondary School to assist with their drawing stationery in the meantime, and they agreed, as these learners are still waiting for their bursary institution to provide their full study kits in January 2021.
One of the bursary and drawing tools recipients stated that, “I’m glad to be part of this bursary arrangement, this is my first time being part of a Draughting course and the stationery donated to us will serve the purpose, we have already started with our classes, fortunately I’m beginning to love the course because it challenges me mentally, I would like to thank Global Solutions in Maths for granting me this opportunity,” Sphiwe Mahlabane delightfully expressed.Mr Valley Shakoane came on board to give a motivational speech to all the students saying, “I’m currently pursuing my N4 Electrical Engineering course at Ekurhuleni East College, Daveyton Campus, so I encourage you all to take all the notes that are given in the classroom as a stepping stone, students should embark on courses/careers which are in demand in the job market, Draughting is one of those careers,” Shakoane enthusiastically stated.
