Yesterday (03 Sep) in Kwa-Thema area between 14h00 and 17h00, the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit Members arrested four (4) male suspects and drugs known as heroin, khat, crystal meth and the partially forbidden herb, were confiscated.
At 14h50 on Lepelle street, two (2) suspicious characters who are 24 and 32-years of age, were approached and handcuffed after Officers uncovered 6x ziplocks of heroin, 13x ziplocks and 18x paper wrapped packets of dagga valued at R2000.
Meanwhile on Khumbuza street at 14h45, the crime fighting Team nabbed a 33 and 37-year old pair, found with 4x ziplocks of khat and 7x ziplocks of crystal meth valued at R2900.
The quartet facing charges of possession and possible dealing in illicit substance, were escorted to Kwa-Thema police station and they expected to appear, at the Kwa-Thema Magistrate’s Court soon.
