Night Chronicles: A Gritty Encounter on Monument Road
On Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 8:00 PM, police in Kempton Park rushed to Monument Road after an armed robbery was reported.
When they got there, they found a man in his 50s, bleeding on the side of the road. He had been shot in the leg during what seemed like a robbery. Two guys in a Mercedes Benz were involved. Luckily, the police acted fast, and the injured man was taken to the hospital for help.
We don’t know exactly what happened before the shooting. The police are looking into it, and they’ve opened a case at the Kempton Park police station for an attempted robbery.
