A breeze of fresh air and relief as matriculants get to explore the world that awaits.

Ekurhuleni News visited Buhlebemfundo Secondary School today to capture the excitement of the 2021 matriculants.

The principal of the school, Mr Clement Sathekge said their pass rate went from 68.5 to 81.91.

“We have managed to attain these results through teamwork and going the extra mile, I took over the school on the 1st of November and I have since been making sure that ideologies around township schools change,”

“Learners leave and go to city schools whereas they could walk to township schools and get an amazing educational experience. I am ecstatic about the improvement of our pass rate,” said the principal.

He further said they have proved and shown that they are the best. His expectations for the year 2022 would be 100% pass rate and he is determined to reach that goal.
