A female coach striving for a league cup victory

A female coach believes her unique team containing sets of twins, has what it takes to clinch the top spot of the league cup taking place at the Vosloorus soccer stadium, helmed by Vosloorus Local football Association. The former Banyana Banyana player renowned among her fans as “Bhazooka” (Lydia Lindiwe Zwane) adamantly revealed that her team called “Bhazooka FC” has quality players that will cause havoc in the league. She explained, saying that, “My under 17 team has already showed that it’s capable of winning the league because it has already won the first match, although we have a long way to go; as a female coach I’m under rated in the league because it’s male dominated; but most teams will be surprised by the quality of football that my team will display, I’m grooming these players for top notch football,” she firmly disclosed.

She continued stating that, “I’m imparting my experience to these young soccer stars; we train on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays because I’m preparing them to be physically and mentally strong as players, I believe in them because they are remarkably capable; if they continue showcasing their marvelous talents this way they will reach the great heights, because I can easily spot potential as I was once a professional footballer myself, when I started this team in 2004 my dream was to give young soccer players a platform to refine their soccer skills.“I’m very passionate about soccer and that’s why I embarked on this journey, I want these young-stars to get the opportunity that I had as my soccer career ended abroad, I want to pave the same path for my players, therefore I even take them for soccer trials at professional clubs like SuperSport United, Jomo Cosmos, Orlando Pirates, Stars of Africa and the SAFA Sport School of Excellence because I don’t want to see their soccer careers end in the township,” Bhazooka vividly shared.“I have seventy (70) players from various areas around the City of Ekurhuleni in my team but I try to manage them all through the help of my assistant coach Mcebiseni Ntshangase and we also need sponsorships; anyone who is willing to help can come to us on Wednesdays, Thurdays and Fridays at the soccer ground next to Pick n’ Pay and the Goldspot shopping Centre in Vosloorus at 16:00.
