Neo Motaung, a qualified health practitioner dedicates her life on taking care of the elderly and disabled people.
She is currently a qualified health promotion officer who has always been passionate about health.
she started working at eBheneza old age home which is where she developed love to take care of the elderly. Thereafter she lost her job, she kept on volunteering at different old age homes and that’s where she drew her inspiration to take care of the elderly.
Neo then told Ekurhuleni News, revealing that “I decided to open my own organisation named gentle care which takes care of the elderly at their homes. I normally go there in the morning, bath them, prepare food for them and so forth since they are unable to do some things for themselves as they are old now. I am currently looking for sponsors that can provide proper facilities to accommodate the elderly, I even carry lunch boxes for them. I am not doing this for money or anything but out of love because I have so much love for the elderly, I’ve worked with them for so many years. I do not only deal with the elderly but also deal with people living with disabilities. I have two children that I take care of, for now, I bath them and feed them at their homes.”
Neo further added that, saying “anyone is more than welcome to refer people who need assistence, as sometimes it might not be the old aged, it might be a mother/uncle or anyone for that matter who has/had a stroke and is unable to do things for certain things, I am more than willing to assist.
Anyone who needs assistance should be more than welcome to contact Neo on: 065 2632 879.
