“Bula Mahlo & Bana Ba Noko Receive Generous Donations”
“The City of Ekurhuleni and AJP Group partnered up to help those in need. On Tuesday, 13 February 2024, Bula Mahlo Children Welfare in Difateng and Bana Ba Noko in Olifantsfontein, Thembisa, were the lucky recipients.
Thanks to the Action Against Poverty program, they received donations totalling R10 500.00. Bana Ba Noko focuses on Early Childhood Development for children from struggling families, primarily from Tswelopele in Thembisa. Meanwhile, Bula Mahlo provides a home for approximately 30 residents, the youngest being just eight months old.
Ald. Nkosindiphile Xhakaza, the MMC for Corporate and Shared Services, praised the outstanding leadership of Bula Mahlo and Bana Ba Noko, recognizing their crucial role in supporting the communities.
Regina Sekgobela, founder of Bula Mahlo Children Welfare Centre, expressed gratitude for the support from both the city and AJP Group. She emphasized how the donations will significantly contribute to acquiring educational and other essential materials for the children’s welfare.”
