An aspiring DJ (Ntokozo Sibusiso Dlamini) under ‘Splakawaar movement’ hosted a successful event dubbed Ladies Affair in Villa Liza on the 5th of September 2021.
He outlined his reasons for hosting this event to Ekurhuleni News saying, “I was raised by a single parent and most people who were guiding me during my upbringing are women, so I had always wanted to do something to honour them.
“I couldn’t do it in August because we were under strict lockdown regulations, however today I’m doing it to honour them. I usually host monthly events with different themes, so I chose to theme this one Ladies Affair, and I incorporated a mixture of Deejays in it.“My line-up is made up of female and male DJ’s, I’m happy with the overall turnout, I was not expecting so many people to come here today. The turnout today exceeds the ones I had in my previous events.
“I want to host my events in different areas around Ekurhuleni, so that I can experience the leisure of travelling around as a DJ, people who want me to host my events in their venues can call me on: 061 231 4546, or engage with me on Instagram or Facebook using the handle ‘Splakawaar Movement’ I’m even available on Twitter and my Twitter handle is @Splakawaar.
The event offered local brands to sell their merchandise or products.
“People who couldn’t come to the event missed out a lot because the event was fun and safe,”Majozi uttered.
