SpazaXpress is an online marketplace, located in Daveyton. It provides a platform for various businesses to connect with customers both online and offline.
Zuko Soyizwaphi, Mlondi Gladile, and Sabelo Khuse started their own business in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown, because they noticed that there were no platforms for promoting marketing products for small businesses, especially in townships. They created a marketplace concept that would give small businesses a digital footprint while generating income and then the idea of SpazaXpress was created. “We do ‘cold calling’ we use our platform SpazaXpress, other marketplaces, and social media.
We provide the best customer experience, so our customer can refer their networks to us,” Zuko clarified.
SpazaXpress is involved in e-commerce development (buying and selling online), internet marketing, social media marketing, but they also provide a platform for small and medium-sized enterprises in the market, they reach customers and sell their products. What is unique about SpazaXpress is that they facilitate e-commerce transactions- buying and selling of products or services using the internet.
They instituted an entire online sales system with a transparent process that is fulfilling for both the buyer and seller, and it is a seamless experience for both parties.
As part of their incentive to give back to the community, SpazaXpress seeks to adopt a children’s sports club, through that club they will sponsor children in Mayfield. “SpazaXpress has grown and established itself as the freshest marketplace which gives more than 500 small businesses a marketing and sales platform. We currently have 4000 users, with 3700 active on SpazaXpress daily.
Approximately 500 registered businesses and over 30 product listings every day and an average reach of 15000 people per post we are on the right track and we are still growing.” Soyizwaphi expressed.
On May 29 SpazaXpress and Parkview Cafe hosted the market known as #MarketNights at Parkview Cafe, it was an offline extension of services where local businesses erected stalls to market and sell their products.
