The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Gauteng extends its warm congratulations to the newly elected Cllr Gerald Goslin on his resounding triumph in the Ekurhuleni Ward 23 by-election. Goslin has clinched victory with a remarkable 96.44% of the vote.
The outcome reflects the unwavering trust of Ward 23 residents not only in their newly elected Councillor but also in the DA. While Ekurhuleni grapples with the repercussions of an ineffective executive, Ward 23 residents have unequivocally rejected the ANC and the EFF.
Compared to previous years, the DA’s vote share in Ward 23 has grown substantially, soaring from 84.96% to an impressive 96.44%.
We are confident that Gerald will be a valuable addition to the DA Ekurhuleni Caucus. He is poised to serve the people of Ward 23 with the same fervour and enthusiasm that defined his election campaign.
The DA extends its heartfelt gratitude to every voter who has shown their support and exercised their democratic right to contribute to the reclamation of Ekurhuleni.
