On Thursday morning (8 o’clock) during the rush hours five cars plunged into each other on R51 road next to the Engen garage (Springs). A lady who owns one of the cars told Ekurhuleni News that “the traffic light was red when I approached it, the cars were flowing in the traffic, the twist of the event followed when a car tried to stop at the robots but it couldn’t and then it bumped my car while the other cars followed suite and it resulted in a massive accident, unfortunately no one wants to take blame for this fiasco.” Only three people were injured and the medical team which arrived on the scene provided medical treatment to the casualties.
