iKhokha Launches First Store

iKhokha provides on-the-ground support to Daveytons’s small businesses.
Ten years ago, iKhokha began its mission to help small businesses with affordable, accessible payment solutions.
On Monday 24th of July, iKhokha celebrated the launch of its first Daveyton store. The event kicked off with a high-energy performance from the Dzhingi Dzhangos Marimba Group, signalling iKhokha’s intentions: to be part of the beating heart of the community.
The event hosted a vibrant mix of iKhokha merchants, entrepreneurs and community leaders who gathered to share their experiences and challenges.
iKhokha co-founder Ramsay Daly led an insightful panel discussion, which included Daveyton business owner Bra Dan of Bra Dans Tavern.
The panel was also joined by Jabu of Jabu’s Atchar, who shared his story about how multiple business failures led to establishing a business that now exports internationally.
Each panellist shared their unique entrepreneurial story, highlighting the passion and determination that fuelled their ventures. The discussion also delved into entrepreneurial challenges, addressing access to capital, marketing, and operational hurdles.
The spotlight shone on iKhokha’s role in driving the success of local businesses as the speakers shared stories of increased sales, improved cash flow, and enhanced customer experiences since partnering with iKhokha.
With this new store, iKhokha will empower Daveyton’s business owners with affordable tools and on-the-ground support to help them unlock their full potential and succeed.
“We’re proud to be a part of this community. We’re here to support the hard-working people of Daveyton to give them the tools they need to grow their businesses and prosper,” said iKhokha co-founder Ramsay Daly.
iKhokha is selling its load-shedding proof card machine, the iK Flyer, at a discounted price of R999. This limited-time offer provides a powerful all-in-one solution for accepting payments and managing inventory with all-day battery life and excellent connectivity.
