Katlehong: Social Crime Prevention Co-ordinator-Sgt Nkonkwane, Sector 4 Manager-Sgt Makeke and Communication Official-Cst Mtwa, attended church service under the theme, social ill of teenage pregnancy at St Manche Masemola Church at Spruitview today, 05 February 2022, from 10:00-14:00, the topic of the day was Joyful Restoration of the Dignity of a Girl and Boychild.
In a full capacity church filled with young girls and boys, Sgt Nkonkwane outlined various aspects to nature and advise these teenagers on what they must do when being abused, sexually assaulted, raped, and about life in general.
This was followed by a question session where these young girls and boys asked very interesting and valuable questions. In closing, Sgt Nkonkwane said, “As Police, we are your mothers and fathers so don’t be afraid to always come to us, gone are the days where SAPS was a “force” we are now a service and we are here to serve”.
