The local foundation established in honour of women, Dj Strauss Pad Drive Foundation was established by Khaya Strauss Ntabeni, famously known as Dj Strauss on the 9th of August 2023 in honour of women’s month.
Strauss says the idea was motivated by Women’s Day and the people around him.
“I was motivated by Women’s Day and seeing my friends post women close to them inspired the idea behind the initiative”.
“The main purpose is to bring back confidence in women, especially in young women,” added Strauss.
The initiative has worked with many people including Lethulwazi Secondary and Kutlwanong Primary School and still wants to reach out to more people.
“We plan on growing the foundation so that we can donate more than just pass, we want to add shoes, uniforms, and many other peoples’ necessities,” stated Strauss.
