Thabiso Msipha donates school uniform items which are: 12 pair of shoes, 11 white shirts and 20 grey shorts. Through his back to school campaign he saw the need to bring positive change to school pupils.
He donated school uniform items to Kwa-Thema primary school which is based in Kwa-Thema extension two (2). The donor explained that he is donating because his trying to give back to his former primary school.
Msipha managed to successfully roll out his campaign with the assistance of sponsors who are based in the East Rand. Howeve he told Ekurhuleni News that “I am glad that there are people who want to see change within our communities by donating. We would also like to thank MMC Dorah Mlambo for her contribution and making this school drive possible, even the Civil and Projects company as well as Pieterse’s family, they all played a huge role because without all these sponsors this function wouldn’t have been possible. We donated what we had today, if it was possible we would’ve donated more, but this is not the end, it’s just the beginning.”
He shared how he has always wanted to donate, saying: “This will improve the livelihood of the learners, it will boost their confidence and it will bring back their smiles, it surely will be a morale booster and their academic stance will also improve with this action. I am looking forward to donate more stuff to more learners in the coming months and I’m also planning to go to Mzomsha primary school, Qedusizi primary school and Tlakula high school.”
“I would like to give thanks to everyone we contributed to the drive, without them my campaign would have not been a success and to those who want to donate feel free to come through, because this is an ongoing thing, lastly, I highly appreciate the support that everyone has given me, because it was not easy, but with God’s grace it was possible,” Msipha concluded.
