On Saturday the 26th of March 2022, Author Prophetess Penny Mthethwa launched her book titled My Journey to Destiny at the OR Tambo Premier Hotel in Kempton Park.
The book encapsulates societal issues such as miscarriages, depression, suicide, death, heartache, disappointment, spiritual attacks, the devil and his agents, spiritual warfare, marriage, separations, soul ties, sin, and challenges at work.
This book is a Christian book that not only points out all these challenges that one may face in life but also gives supporting scriptures and prayers to combat these challenges. It is a book for all age groups, and people from all different walks of life.
In this book, Mthethwa talks about her upbringing from childhood right up until she lost both her parents and her elder sister to suicide. She also speaks about how she had miscarriages and how her newborn baby was killed by the devil’s agents.
She further shares about the attacks she received that led to the deterioration of her health. She was given a life sentence of being subjected to an oxygen tank which she was to use for the rest of her life.
“Against all odds, I overcame all these challenges which I solely attribute to God alone who is the author of my life,” said Mthethwa.
She lifts people in this book by sharing her life experiences and also by proving the power of God through all that she overcame.
Tinyiko Barbara Ngobeni who has read the book and who has experienced Mthethwa’s suffering when she was fighting for her life in hospital, shared with Ekurhuleni News how “My Journey to Destiny” is an easy read and very soul uplifting book.
“It is a four-chapter book with 127 pages and is an easy read for all. This is one book that once you start reading, you will struggle to put down,” she said.
The launch included three panellists who tackled the issues that are covered in the book, one of them being, Dr. ML Mkhwanazi one of the cardiologists who saved her life.
It was a well-supported day, and all attendees were blessed with a copy of the book, a bookmark, and a photo opportunity with the author who signed their books personally giving them all messages of hope.
