Redeemed ministries observes COVID-19 regulations

With the Easter mood, churches geared up to celebrate the Easter weekend in a rather unique fashion for the first time since the outbreak of COVID-19.

Redeemed ministries celebrated Easter as usual because it’s an essential part of their belief and faith, it is also an iconic period were apostles of god come together and praise their creator . It’s a fundamental link that keeps them close to God, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the core element of what Easter is about.

It was a whole lot of work for the church; however the congregants came together and complied with the COVID-19 regulations.

“We have been compliant, hence there are no cases linked to the church since the Easter, “said letlohonolo

Redeemed ministries had a registering booth were they controlled the number of people who entered the church. Congregants were responsible enough to observe the social distancing protocols, they were also sanitised and they wore their mask at all times.

“The pandemic has tested us like never before, but we have witnessed people from all churches working together and obligating themselves to fight against the virus.”

Faith and spirituality play an essential role in strengthening individuals’ souls, and both the abstract substances help with the challenges that people face every day. The faith of the Redeemed Ministries, Ikhaya labahlengwa has fortified the nation as we face the onslaught of the virus.

“As much as we exercise our faith, spirituality and humanity, we have ensured the well-being of people in our churches, especially senior citizens.”

As they continue to exercise the right to freedom of religion and fight the spread of the virus, they do so by adhering to restrictions and making sure that they do not put other peoples’ lives at risk.

Getting through these testing times will require understanding, prayer and spiritual encouragement. We all need to come together and fight against the pandemic.
