Sam Ntuli Mall Hosts a Career Day

In efforts to assist young people in making better career choices, Sam Ntuli mall in Katlehong hosted a career day on Saturday, 25 February 2023.

Sam Ntuli mall invited all school pupils for a career Expo where they exposed them to different institutions, career paths, and career options they can look into.

Lerato Makamu, Center manager said, “We as Sam Ntuli mall have arranged this Career Expo as part of giving back but to also expose young people to different careers, institutions, and leadership opportunities out there”.

Regardless of the gloomy weather, students from different schools came out in numbers to grasp the information offered.

Tshepo Moleko from Ilinge high school, Vosloorus said he is excited to learn and discover more.

“I’m so excited about this expo, it will give me a chance to learn more about career options that are out there for me to choose from”, said Moleko.

“I believe that with the information I grasp from this expo, I will be able to make better choices”, he added.

Themba Mokoena from Ekupholeni mental health and trauma centre said the reason they were part of this expo was not only for a career expo but to also teach the importance of mental health.

“We are here to teach more on mental health, we believe that when your mental health is stable, you are able to make better choices and decisions”, he said.

“Not only that but when students are in a better mental state they are capable of also performing well in their studies”, added Mokoena.

The career day was not only information and formalities but it ended with different entertainment elements.
