Two legends of the soccer field (Josta Dladla and Sibusiso Zuma) that were chosen by loyal supporters of the MTN 8 Wafa Wafa cup competition- which is currently left with four teams that are jousting for the 8 million grand price touched down in Ekurhuleni on the 22nd of September.
Both legendary soccer aces outlined that they came to the City of Ekurhuleni to encourage soccer fanatics to seize the opportunity of grabbing the great glossary prizes which are offered by the 47th edition of the prestigious cup competition, which features clubs that reached the top 8 segments in the DStv Premiership when it ended last season.
Josta Dladla who has been the ambassador of the MTN8 Wafa Wafa knock out the tournament for three consecutive years, confided to the local Newspaper saying, “We are here to enlighten soccer lovers about the competitions that carry great prizes within the MTN 8 cup competition. MTN valuable customers can just dial *144*8# and punch in their airtime pin to enter the last fan standing competition which offers 1-million prize money.
“In total there are 8 legends that have been selected to represent the MTN 8 knock out competition, we have the likes of Lefa Tsutsulupa, Fabian McCarthy, Katleho Mphela and many other legends who are doing what we are doing now but in different areas.”
Sibusiso Zuma a legendary shooting beast of the football game also shared concrete details about the cup competition, he said, “In the tournament, there is also a Last legend standing competition, and the prize that is up for grabs is R180 000, any legend who wins the price has to compulsorily donate R20 000 to any charity organisation of his choice.
“In the second leg match between Sundowns and Golden Arrows, I strongly believe that Sundowns will win the match because it is playing good football, to an extent, it is even capable of winning tournament. There are also goals for charity and MTN vowed to pledge R20 000 for each goal that will be scored during the competition.
Lastly, Josta Dladla said, “I think Sundowns will beat Golden Arrows and reach the finals but in the match between Swallows and Cape Town City it’s hard to predict which team will win the match but I’m crossing my fingers for Swallows to win, people can follow the Twitter handle which is MTN8 Wafa Wafa to stand a chance of winning prizes by predicting match scores,” he concluded.
