On Monday 30 January 2023 at 21h00, the Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) Bronberg precinct Officers, arrested a 26-year-old male suspect and sought for common assault and domestic violence.
The EMPD Officers were made aware of a case opened against the wanted suspect, registered at the Daveyton police station, sometime last week. It is alleged that the suspect, assaulted a woman who happened to be the mother of his child, after she allegedly left the child, with the suspect and picked him up very late, on Khumalo Street in the Basotho Section of Daveyton.
The cooperative suspect, was spotted walking on Ampthill Avenue in the Benoni area, approached and handcuffed, before he was taken to the Daveyton police station. He is expected to appear in the Daveyton Magistrate’s Court soon.
