Ugqozi Entertainment brings an epic line-up of performances from the most phenomenal female musicians in Gauteng, on the 28 of August 2021.
The concert that commences at 12:00 in the afternoon and ends at 22:30 in the evening under the theme “STOMP YOUR FEET” is cordially hosted in celebration of Women’s month at 8005 Tshiruruvhela Street in Vosloorus (Ext 2).
The performance line-up comprises of female acts which are: Zozo The Lady, Ntunja, Ntombenhle, Mbalizethu, Noma G and Calandray. All the musicians that will be gracing the stage vowed to bring something unique and mesmerizing for the audience on the day.
They are encouraging their fans and generally music lovers to come to the concert and experience something they have never experienced before any music concert.
One of the musicians on the concert line-up Ntunja (Amanda Nkosi) confided to the People’s No 1 choice newspaper, saying, “I’m bringing my unique performance to the stage, I will be taking the audience back to their roots by performing traditional music with an urban twist to it. As female arts, we will take the concert to greater heights. I’m looking forward to perform alongside my fellow sisters.
“We appeal to people to support this event because as artists we rely on this type of platform to make a living.”
The host of the event Sizwe Mokoena shared his main purpose in doling out the event, saying, “I like to see talented people using their God-given talents, especially those who are musically talented. Through this concert, I want to give musicians a platform to ply their trade. I’m a musician myself and I feel like we need something to uplift our spirits as musicians because we were under lockdown for a long time.
“The line-up of women came from the perspective of women’s month, I promise that women who will be performing on stage during the concert won’t disappoint, and I have witnessed their performances before and I attest to everyone that they are all indeed talented. I advise people to come and witness something magnificent,” Mokoena uttered.
