Vrrphaa Nation FC recently announced the signings of Mpimo Shibambo, Kamogelo Tsotetsi, Lawrence Mnisi, Mcitheki Mzizi, and Warden Mailed. Coach Stan is aiming to make the team stronger after coming close to winning the league last season.
Coach Stan also promised to pay back Modimo Sema, Vusi Zondo, Thabang Rakhokha, and Philip Dipholo for their support.
“VFLA is packed with talent; we’ve got to catch up,” Stan told the Vrrphaa media team at a press conference on Monday.
Stan thanked chairman Philip “Matima” Dipholo for his support, acknowledging a big check. “We’ll thank him properly when the season ends,” Stan assured.
“I know what Mpimo ‘Shevu no Poison’ can do; he’ll fit well into my system,” Stan said. “All our signings suit our style of play, giving us the quality we need. Mpimo is going to help our team succeed, I guarantee it.”
“Kamogelo’s past record speaks for itself. He made assists at FC Villa and Spurs, even after joining his former club in January. He scored seven goals and gave assists,” Stan added.
“Last season, we struggled with making opportunities. Kamogelo’s ability to assist is just what we need to do better.”
“Our chairman wants Vrrphaa to move up and play good football,” Stan mentioned. “With our players, expect good, fast football. Our attacking players are really speedy.”
“We want to keep the ball and play fast; if you can’t run, you can’t play football,” Stan confidently declared.
The team, “Abafana be payipi,” wants to do better than their 4th-placed finish last season.
