Ikhokha is a trusted speed point machents organization, which tries to help small businesses to grow with the latest technology from swiping machines to teller machines.
As they hosted the Ikhokha Elevate on the 12th of March 2025, the whole mandate was to showcase their new products and services to small and corporate businesses, and give front-row access to expert insights, digital tools and funding opportunities that can take one’s business to the next level.
As a start-up founded in 2012, Ikhokha is today one of the fastest growing fintech companies in Africa. To-date, Ikhokha has processed over 307 million card transactions, put more than R2 billion in business owners hands through their IK cash advance offering. Opened 16 Ikhokha stores nationwide including the one in Daveyton, next to Daveyton Mall.
Ikhokha Elevate, which was held at Ikhokha’s head office, in Durban, and also steamed live on YouTube, focused on three essential pillars for SME success: cash flow, digital commerce and business management. Ikhokha stores also hosted their merchant to watch the event live. Refreshments were provided in-store by the store managers.
IKHOKHA stores cannot host its people and not give them goodies to appreciate them. One of the IK stores that hosted the event is the Ikhokha store Daveyton. Bongeka Masentse, owner of Mzumbe’s Place in Daveyton, Chris Hani, won Ikhokha Elevate hamper full of goodies.
