Firefighters in Springs Central Fire Station became heroes to the Kimberly Clark company after their splendid display during a fire that occurred last month, 19 May.
Representative Mr. Mzila and the team came to thank the firefighting team which was in attendance while their company was on fire three weeks ago when one of their plants caught alight and teams around the area responded swiftly and made a big difference in containing the blaze.
The company structure and contents sustained minimal fire damages after that, the management of the company thought it is relevant for them to visit the crews who were in attendance to appreciate them.
According to them, the team’s performance was exceptional. They arrived on time, energetic, and the enthusiastic performance by the team was out of this world.
“You guys saved what was to be a catastrophe. Families of the employees will still have bread on the table because of your bravery. If it wasn’t for you, no one was to still have a job today. We are grateful for the work you have done,” said Mzila.
This was to encourage and revitalize their spirit more over as it will be coming from members of the public they are serving daily.
