Exodus Missionary Church in the East Rand in association with the God of Action (GOA) held a successful outreach project to the community of Chris Hani Ext 1 on the 18th of October 2024.
The Chris Hani-based church prides itself in being the servants of God by going the extra mile to help their community. The church runs its soup kitchen every week but also has the main projects conducted monthly where they vigorously give out clothes and food parcels.
“It’s only through God’s grace that we can lend a helping hand for the people of God, as EXODUS missionary church under the leadership of L. S and X. Ndumo,” said Mokgadi Phetla.
“We express our Gratitude to the relevant stakeholders Moz Del, Naledi Bakeries, and Daveyton Mall who sponsored and contributed significantly towards the event and giving back to the community,” she added.
Phetla mentioned that the EXODUS missionary church is a people’s church that cares about the community at large and they are willing to do more than give out food parcels, clothes, and a warm meal.
In appreciation of the amazing work done by the church, Apostle Linda Siphiwe Ndumo received a token of appreciation from the community as a sign of gratitude.
Thembinkosi Mosenyegi from the GOA non-profit organization mentioned that in any movement that involves helping people they want to be part of it. It is in their heart to help the community physically, emotionally, and mentally.
