Graduation marks a milepost in the lives of students. It is serious yet joyful. On Friday, May 17th, 2022, Motheo Training Institute Trust bade a fond farewell to 48 new Early Child Development (ECD)graduates, as they obtained their SAQA ECD NQF level 5 qualifications, at Boksburg Civic Centre.
The ECD Training Programme is accredited by ETDP.SETA.
Joined by the founder of Motheo Training Institute Trust Rex Motheo, the CEO of ETDP.SETA Mrs Nombulo Nxesi, Mr Andrè Viviers of UNICEF, Mr Theo Toolo of SACE, the CEO MR. Leanard Saul from the South African Congress for Early Child Development, Mrs. Fikiswa Sosola from the Department of Social Development (DSD), Mrs. Mapule Phora the Gauteng Provincial Manager from the Development Agency (NDA), and Bridge ECD Community of Practice (COP) Ms. Thamdeka Radebe.
Motheo Training Institute Trust is a South African-based Public Benefit Trust, a multi-training centre, offering quality Early Childhood Development Services and other developmental studies throughout South Africa. It was established in 2007, to attend to and respond to the dire needs of its impoverished communities and its Principal core business is Early Child Development.
The founder of Motheo Training Institute Trust congratulated the new graduates on behalf of the Institution. He emphasised that they assure parents that their children are in good hands and that the graduates will confidently improve young children’s capacity to develop and learn.
“Despite all the interruption, distractions, and our lives being so miserable during COVID-19, my journey has been amazing historical and so knowledgeable, Motheo came up with most of our modules electronically and they were efficient and patient with us, always willing to help,” said one of the graduates, Thulisile.
“We are very thankful for all the support we have received from different stakeholders, To all the amazing staff members of Motheo Training Institute Trust who continuously kept on delivering these successful graduation ceremonies, you are all amazing and your commitment and loyalty to the brand is commendable beyond any measure,”
