A remarkable moment in pageant history unfolded at the Miss Tourism South Africa 2025 competition, where a mother and her two daughters walked away as winners in their respective categories. Chloé, Chanél, and Lizelle not only participated together but also made history by achieving a first-ever family victory in the pageant.
The idea to compete together stemmed from a unique challenge. The trio encouraged six mothers from their modelling school to enter the competition alongside their daughters. Inspired by this challenge, Lizelle, the matriarch of the family, decided to step onto the stage herself. Having always been her daughters’ biggest supporter, this was her opportunity to experience the pageant world first hand, and competing as a family brought a deeper understanding and appreciation for one another and the experience strengthened their bond, improved communication, and created memories that will last a lifetime.
The moment of victory was nothing short of spectacular. First, Chloé was announced as the Teen Miss Tourism South Africa 2025 winner. Chanél, Miss Tourism South Africa 2025. Reflecting on the moment, Chanél shared, “Winning this title after 16 years of competing is an indescribable feeling. It proves that persistence, passion, and never giving up truly pay off. To win alongside my mother and sister makes it even more special.”
Lastly, Lizelle, who had never competed in a pageant before, won the title of Mrs. Tourism Classic South Africa 2025.
Winning together as a mother-daughter trio was a surreal and humbling experience. For Chanél, in particular, her long history with the pageant organization made this achievement even more meaningful. The trio expressed immense gratitude for being part of such a unique and historic moment.
This journey has only brought them closer, strengthening their mother-daughter relationship. They now share a deeper understanding of each other’s emotions, challenges, and aspirations. The joy, pride, and love they felt on stage will be treasured forever.
As newly crowned titleholders, Chloé, Chanél, and Lizelle are determined to use their platforms to inspire and uplift others. Their goals includes supporting organizations that empowers women and promote education, advocating for kindness and compassion within their communities, encouraging others to chase their dreams and make a positive impact.
