The Nedbank Cup round of 16 came to an end last night at the Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga, with Baroka FC emerging victorious over TS Galaxy.
With preparations already underway for the quarter-finals on Monday, 14 March 2022, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) and tournament sponsors, Nedbank, conducted the quarter-finals draw, revealing some exciting fixtures ahead of the next round.
Nedbank hosted an exciting fan-viewing experience in Soweto this past Saturday, 12 March 2022. Football fans were treated to a VIP-style viewing experience, rubbing shoulders with football legends and Nedbank Cup ambassadors Doctor Khumalo and Reneilwe ‘Yeye’ Letsholonyane.
‘It was great to see fans interacting and really just enjoying football together. Through these fan-viewing experiences, our goal is to bring the Nedbank Cup atmosphere to football fans in different provinces,’ said Buli Ndlovu, Executive Head of Marketing at Nedbank Retail and Business Banking.
Quarter-final draw fixtures are as follows:
- Mamelodi Sundowns vs Summerfield Dynamos
- Marumo Gallants vs Baroka FC
- Tshakhuma FC vs Supersport United
- Royal AM vs University of Pretoria
Dates and venues will be confirmed by the PSL in due course. Nedbank will also be launching exciting initiatives and activities as part of its Nedbank Cup 2022 season campaign.
