On the 10th May 2025, Boys Mentorship South Africa hosted a powerful women’s conference focusing on the unique challenges faced by mothers who are raising sons without a male figure in the picture. The event brought together women from diverse backgrounds to share experiences, insights, and strategies for nurturing confident, capable, and compassionate young men.
The conference provided a safe space for mothers to connect, learn from each other, and find support. Through work/panel discussions, attendees gained valuable knowledge on topics such as:
– Building resilience and confidence in sons
– Managing the emotional needs of boys without a father figure
– Creating a positive male influence in their sons’ lives
– Navigating societal expectations and stereotypes
The conference emphasized the importance of self-care, self-love, and community building among mothers. By supporting one another, these women can create a network of love, guidance, and future responsible men in the society. Present Fathers.
