By Motshabi Hoaeane

Prolific author, entrepreneur and educational expert Emmanuel Sithole has released his 7th book from his independent publishing & media house Kamvelihle Azania Publisher.Sithole who has been in the literary space for up to a decade now, publishes both fiction and non fiction books through Kamvelihle Azania Publisher. The book “Right Before the 30 years Curve” in particular was officially released on 26 March 2025. It delves into the significant milestones that shape a person’s fate, and speaks to youth in the critical ages of their teens and twenties, edging towards their thirties.

It also debunks concepts of presumed ideal success and rekindles hope for those that feel lost, confused and stuck. It catapults them into an evolved way of being through inspiring positive paradigm shift thinking, as well as step by step personal intentions and habits anchored in self development.

On a mission of “writing a better tomorrow” his movement’s slogan, Dr Sithole is living a disciple of the power of story, reading & reflecting, as well as independent book publishing.Through his organisation Emmanuel Sithole Foundation (E.S Foundation), he proactively gives back by channeling 100% of his book proceeds and royalties into underprivileged communities  with initiatives like ; “Buy a Book, Give Back”, the annual “Sponsor a Need” drive, along with community empowerment.

The book “Right Before the 30 Years Curve” treats themes of shifting from survival mode into a growth mindset, establishing healthy habits, practicing self compassion and embracing resilience. Sithole said while the book was specifically targeted at people in their twenties  it’s not limited by its target market.“The focus is on a lot of issues that overlap across the age barrier. It blends mindset coaching, practical goal strategies and includes practical reflective exercises to help individuals navigate personal pivotal transition before their 30s.”

“Amongst the key things that the focus is on, is a shift to a growth mindset and self compassion.I emphasise on moving from survival mentality to a growth mindset, embracing failure as learning and, valuing progress over perfection and seeing life as continuous evolution. Another key thing is self  compassion, and resilience  this underscores the importance of self kindness and inner resilience it encourages readers to talk to themselves with the same understanding they would offer a friend. Adding to this, surround yourself with a circle of positive influences, mentors, peers and friends who encourage personal development, as well as deeply looking at consistency and patience, because true transformation is more like a marathon not a sprint.”

The book allows readers to embrace the uncertainty and challenges that come before the big milestone of age of 30. “It will encourage readers to be patient with themself and accept that it’s ok to not have it all figured out and have all the answers, but rather take control of their personal growth without rushing into anything” he said.

An excerpt from the book’ foreword reads:
“There comes a moment in life when you pause and ask yourself: Am I where i’m supposed to be? For many that moment hits the hardest in their mid to late twenties  an age filled with transition uncertainty and overwhelming pressure to have everything figured out. Society tells us that by now, we should have a stable career,a growing savings account, meaningful relationships, and a clear vision for the future. But truth is, most of us are still navigating the unknown, second guessing our choices, and wondering if we’re falling behind…That realization is both freeing and terrifying. It means you don’t have to stay stuck, but it also means you must take responsibility for the future. No one is coming to hand you the blueprint for success and happiness. The only way to find what truly fulfils you is to embrace uncertainty , take risks and trust that every experience good or bad is shaping you into the person you are meant to become.”

The book can be acquired from Lifestyle Books , Lakeside Benoni and Maponya Mall, as well online. Orders can also be made via Kamvelihle Azania Publisher catalogue on Whatsapp 068 846 0041
