On October 15, 100% Foundation and Bacha Ba Dichaba Explorers visited George Mbilase Primary School, donating 200 sanitary towels to support the learners. The NYS participants, led by Team Leader Duduzile Mlauza, were instrumental in making this initiative a success.
Duduzile shared, “Leading 30 young people with different mindsets, inspirations, and challenges has been a learning curve, but now everyone understands the mission and duties of Bacha Ba Dichaba and 100% Foundation. We’re grateful for the partnership and look forward to supporting our beneficiaries as they prepare for their final exams. Thank you, 100% Foundation, for your continued support, it means the world to us!”
Sanitary towels play a vital role in the lives of young girls, allowing them to attend school confidently and comfortably during their menstrual cycles. Access to these essential items helps reduce absenteeism and ensures that no girl is left behind because of a natural biological process.
On behalf of young girls, Sbongile Sokela stated, “Providing sanitary towels is more than just a donation, it’s about restoring dignity and giving our girls the confidence to focus on their education without fear or shame. Every girl deserves the chance to learn and dream without barriers.”
The partnership between 100% Foundation and Bacha Ba Dichaba Explorers is a shining example of how communities can come together to uplift and empower young people.
