The Duduza police led a successful campaign as they searched two schools in their area in a bid to promote safety within the learning environment.
In partnership with GDE East, EMPD, Gauteng Traffic department, Department of Correctional Services, CPF and the Youth Desk they managed to search two secondary schools which are: Thandi Eleanor Sibeko and Asser Maloka.
The primary objective of this campaign was to search and confiscate any illegal items that learners might be in possession of in the school premises. This was done to ensure that the culture of learning and teaching goes ahead without disruptions.
The raids were appreciated at both schools because they are a proactive intervention that seeks to prevent and deter any form of unlawful activities that could threaten the safety of learners and educators.
