WindmillPark Secondary School allowed their pupils to showcase their talents, boost their self-confidence, and also encouraged them to get opportunities through a talent show. Media house and Shape Your Life was present at the school to allow the pupils to interact with them.
The talent show aimed to show the learners that even though education is a key to success, talent is also as important if things don’t work out academically for some of their pupils.
Different talents were showcased from dancing, singing, poets, acting, and many more.
Actor Themba Sibanyoni known as Danger from Diep City said that the impact he brings to young people is to inspire and encourage them, as he also started as a dancer, videographer, and choreographer in the media industry.
“I was very impressed to see young people who are so talented. The criteria for choosing the WindmillPark Secondary School Talent Show winner competition was based on the competitors singing, dancing, acting, and so forth”, said Sibanyoni.
Pupils who won the talent show earned a spot to continue to showcase their talents, singers got an opportunity to be assisted to get studio time to record their single, and actors will get an opportunity to engage with relevant acting agencies.
