Tsakane_ On Tuesday 21 June 2022 The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department Swat unit discovered suspicious items at a Daveyton home.
EMPD SWAT in conjunction with Daveyton and Etwatwa EMPD precincts received information from a reliable source of the whereabouts of a chop shop operating in Extension 2, Mkhwanazi Street. Members conducted a plan and proceeded to Daveyton where they discovered a motorcycle, which was reported stolen. Furthermore, upon searching the premises, the law enforcers found vehicle registration papers for different vehicles with license discs, a passport and two (2) cell phones. The suspects managed to flee the scene and no arrests were made.
The stolen motorcycle was booked at Van Ryn Deep in Benoni and other exhibits were booked at Crystal Park SAPS for further investigation.
