Tshepo Hope Funeral services donate school uniforms to destitute families
On 10 January 2022, Tshepo Hope Funeral Services donated school uniforms in Katlehong to needy families who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The purpose of the donations was to cover the feeling of going to school on the first day of school without a full uniform or not having a uniform at all. Emphasis was made that these kids are the future so they need empowerment when it comes to education.
Mr Tshepo from the Funeral Services further mentioned that they still abide by the norm that states “it takes a village to raise a child” therefore they are more than a funeral parlour, however, they also cater for the community as a whole in terms of building and changing the environment.
