A former soccer player, Teboho Mokoena, is giving aspiring soccer players and netball players a chance to display and refine their talents through his tournament dubbed Teboho Mokoena’s annual games.
The 6th annual games commenced on the 17th and 18th of April at Sam Ntuli stadium and they will continue in the upcoming weekend (from the 24th up until the 25th of April).
The annual games comprises of three sporting codes which are netball, soccer and volley ball, it has under 13, 15 and 17 teams categorically competing against each other. The team the scopes away the first price will get a soccer kit, a cup and Medals, the other teams that occupy the second price will get a cup and a medal.
The soccer teams in the under 13, 15 and 19 categories will play this upcoming weekend in their final stages. And also the under 13, 15and 19 netball teams will also compete for the first price during the upcoming weekend.
Volleyball teams are also going to be competing for the first price. During the upcoming weekend, Saturday will still be set aside for the knockout stages (semifinals) then Sunday will be a day for the finals, and all the sporting codes will be having their final matches on that specific day.
