The Tsakane SAPS Management, Social crime co-ordinator, Sector one, three, and four managers, outgoing CPF executive, and all crime sector forums recently gathered at the Tsakane SAPS Hall to elect the new CPF EXCOM 2025 TO 2029.
The meeting was well attended and the outgoing chairperson presented their term report to the masses and further encouraged people who are going to be elected to work with the police to bridge the gap between the SAPS and the community.
The station commander Colonel Khumbulani Mbatha dissolved the executive and Mr Khehla Nkambule from the Community Safety CPF Co-ordinator proceeded with the meeting.
He explained the process of voting and the legitimacy of people who must be elected.
He placed emphasis on free and fair processes, each crime sector forum was represented by 11 members who were nominating, seconding, and voting.
The process went well, some members who were serving in the outgoing EXCOM were re-elected for another term.

The station commander welcomed the new committee and thanked them for volunteering to serve the community of Tsakani.
“He said that there must be a good working environment, with emphasis on a good working relationship to reduce crime and make sure that Tsakani is the safest township in Ekurhuleni,” said Mncedisi Somyo.
